Tyler, 27, asked fans for prayers on Thursday after he was forced to cancel a “Good Morning America” appearance due to a “family emergency.” He did not disclose additional details about his mother’s condition at the time.
“Have to cancel GMA group run tomorrow,” he tweeted Thursday afternoon. “Family emergency. Please pray for my mom and my family.”
Tyler’s younger brothers, Austin and Ryan Cameron, also took to their own respective social media accounts to ask for prayers.
Andrea lived in Jupiter, Florida, where Cameron is originally from. He moved to New York City leading up to his stint on reality TV.
On Monday, she posted a photo of herself watching “The Bachelor” on Instagram. Several fans have since left their well-wishes in the comments.
In August, Andrea shared on Instagram that Tyler’s father, Jeff, was “in the hospital fighting an infection” — although he later recovered.
She added, “Thank you… and remember to always be kind…Please find the kindness in your heart to pray for Mr Cameron and our family.”
Andrea and Jeff appeared on Hannah Brown’s season of “The Bachelorette” during the hometown dates when Tyler was competing for a chance at a proposal.
A rep for Tyler did not immediately return our request for comment.
